National Award in SEN Co-ordination
If you are new to the SENCO role, you are required to complete the National Award in SENCO Co-ordination within the first 3 years of your practice. This Masters accredited course is hosted by the Eastern Partnership and provides 7 face to face teaching days along with excellent electronic resources and support. Venues are available across the Eastern region including in Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex, Bedforshire and Peterborough. Judith Carter is part of the Tutor Team and hosts training days in Norfolk. SENCO New to Role (NTR)
Willow Tree Learning hosts a SENCO New to Role (NTR) course which provides practical advice, support and resources for SENCOs, Assistant SENCOs or SEN Practitioners. This course is a practical 'how to' guide to being a SENCO. It is NOT an alternative to the National Award but is complimentary and pragmatic in its approach.

Delegates attend a half termly training session during the year which are held at the Willow Centre in Norwich.
